Airport &#8211; Bishkek city \u2013 National Park Ala Archa \u2013 Bishkek city. (120 km \/ 1 hour)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival in Manas International airport you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to a hotel in Bishkek (<strong>early check-in is included<\/strong>).\u00a0 After a restful morning and breakfast, drive to Ala Archa, a popular place for picnics, hikes, rock climbing and alpinism with more than 20 glaciers. The area offers a wide range of hikes for different levels. Considering you will participate in a race, we recommend you to hike up to a nice waterfall (3.75 km- 2.5-3 hours one way).<br \/>\nTransfer back to Bishkek. Lunch at a local caf\u00e9 and city tour: Monument of Kyrgyz hero Manas, Kurmanjan Datka Monument, Oak Park, Ala Too Square, Opera and Ballet Theater, and Victory Square, dedicated to the World War II soviet heroes.<br \/>\nAfter the visit you will go to TSUM (<em>the biggest department store in Bishkek<\/em>) to buy souvenirs.<br \/>\nDinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in a hotel.<br \/>\n<strong>(Breakfast \u2013 hotel, lunch \u2013 local restaurant, dinner \u2013 local restaurant)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Day 2.<\/span> Bishkek city \u2013 Bokonbaev village. (270 km \/4-5 hours)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the morning we start our journey and drive to <strong>Burana Tower<\/strong> (UNESCO site) near Tokmok town (1,5 hours).<br \/>\n<em>That minaret was constructed in Balasagun town, one of the capitals of Karakhanid State existed in 8-12 centuries AD. <\/em><em>Here we explore ruins of one of the most important trading point at the Great Silk Road and also visit a little local museum that tells about that civilization by items of ancient. <\/em><em>Our attention will be drawn by the collection of Balbals &#8211; Turkic ancient tomb stones and stone carvings called petroglyphs.<\/em><br \/>\nAfter excursion at the archeological complex you have <strong>lunch at Kazakh family<\/strong> in Tokmok town, where tourist can learn about the life of local people.<br \/>\nAfter lunch transfer to the Issyk Kul lake and head along the south shore to Bokonbaev village.<br \/>\n<em>Issyk Kul Lake is the second largest alpine lake in the world after Titicaca located in South America. Its length reaches 182 km, and width is 58 km, maximum depth is up to 668 m. During the summer period the water reaches up to 20-25 C.<\/em><br \/>\nUpon arrival to Bokonbaev village get accommodation in the <strong>Almaluu Yurt Camp<\/strong>. You can take a walk along sandy beaches, swim, enjoy clean water of the lake and amazing views of snow capped mountains that surround the lake.\u00a0 Dinner and overnight in the Yurt Camp.<br \/>\n<b>(Breakfast \u2013 hotel, lunch \u2013 local Kazakh family, dinner \u2013 Yurt Camp).<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Day 3.<\/span> Bokonbaev village \u2013 Djeti Oguz gorge &#8211;\u00a0 Karakol town. \u00a0(150 km \/ 2.5 \u2013 3 hours)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After breakfast head the southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake towards Karakol town.<br \/>\n<strong>Karakol<\/strong> \u2013 <em>is a small but very interesting town with traditional Russian architecture. <\/em><em>It was established in the middle of 19th century and became an important garrison settlement on the territory of Issyk Kul region. <\/em><br \/>\nOn the way you admire beautiful landscape and changing of scenery.<br \/>\nYou will make a stop at one of the most beautiful places for a short walk. The place is <strong>Fairy Tale Canyon<\/strong> (<strong>Skazka<\/strong>). The canyon looks scenic with the dark blue Issyk Kul Lake on the background.<br \/>\nAfter a walk we continue our way to <strong>Djety Oguz gorge<\/strong>.<br \/>\nLunch in a Yurt Camp in Djety Oguz gorge.<br \/>\n<em>Djety Oguz\u00a0 from Kyrgyz language is translated as Seven Bulls. Unlike Fairy Tale Canyon this picturesque gorge differs in the mountains covered with Tien Shan fir tree. At the beginning of the gorge you will face a famous Broken Heart Rock. Walking up further to panorama you will see those famous Seven Bulls rocks. <\/em><br \/>\nDrive to Karakol town after the walk and accommodation at a hotel. Dinner at a local Dungan family.<br \/>\n<strong>(Breakfast \u2013 Yurt Camp, lunch \u2013 Yurt Camp, dinner \u2013 Dungan Family)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Day 4.<\/span> Karakol town \u2013 Cholpon Ata town. (150 km \/ 2.5 \u2013 3 hours)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast at the hotel and continue our adventures. Before we leave Karakol town\u00a0visit Dungan mosque a unique building in a style of the Chinese pagoda which is functioning mosque up to now.<br \/>\nAlso you will visit Russian Orthodox Holy Trinity Church built of wood. In the miraculous iconostasis of the church there is the famous Tikhvinian icon of Divine Mother, painted in 1897.<br \/>\nAfter Karakol sightseeing you head to Memorial Museum of\u00a0 N.M. Przhevalsky a great Russian explorer and researcher of Asian continent, which 12 km far from Karakol.<\/p>\n<p>Drive to Cholpon Ata town. Lunch at a local caf\u00e9.<br \/>\nAfter lunch visit the Open air Petroglyphs Museum. Petroglyphs are dated back Sak-Usun period from 9-8 century up to 3-5 century AD. The territory where Petroglyphs are found lying below the Kungey Ala Too Mountains with a beautiful view of the lake.<br \/>\nDrive to the hotel. Time at leisure.<br \/>\n<strong>(Breakfast \u2013 hotel, lunch \u2013 cafe, dinner \u2013 hotel)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Day 5.<\/span> Marathon Day <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>There will be 4 Marathon destinations:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Full Marathon Distance (42 km and 195 m)<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Half Marathon Distance (21 km and 97.5 m)<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 10 km running distance<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5 km running distance.<br \/>\n<strong><u>Optionally:<\/u> <\/strong>Party after marathon.<br \/>\nOvernight in the hotel.<br \/>\n<strong>(Breakfast \u2013 hotel, dinner \u2013 hotel)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Day 6.<\/strong><\/span> <strong>Cholpon Ata town \u2013 Bishkek city. You can take a walk along sandy beaches, swim, enjoy clean water of the lake.<br \/>\n<strong><u>Optionally:<\/u> <\/strong><em>Boat cruise in Issyk Kul Lake.<\/em><br \/>\nLunch in the local cafe in Cholpon Ata.<br \/>\nAfter lunch, transfer to Bishkek along the Southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. On the way we can make stop in the most picturesque spots: beauty of Issyk Kul lake and views of fabulous Terskei Ala Too mountain range.<br \/>\nUpon arrival, get accommodated in the hotel.
