The conference with the world mountaineering legend – Peter Habeler will visit our Achik-Tash BC near Lenin Peak!<\/p>\n
Peter Habeler (Austria) is one of the most famous alpinists in the world. An important stage in his alpinist career was the first ever oxygen-free climb to Everest with Reinhold Messner in 1978. Than he climbed Nanga Parbat, Cho Oyu, Kangchenjunga.<\/p>\n
Peter believes that the height of the summit is not so important. The main thing, in his opinion, is the fulfillment of a dream and the constant search for your own Everest.<\/p>\n
Peter Habeler will share his reflections on the mountains, on respectful attitude to the surrounding nature, about the correct assessment of his abilities while climbing in Ak-Sai’s Achik-Tash BC.
